Description

In the last few decades, traces of pharmaceuticals, Personal Care Products (PPCPs) and Endocrine Disrupting Compounds (EDCs) were reported in water cycle, including surface waters, wastewater, groundwater and drinking water. These compounds were referred to as Chemicals of Emerging Concern. Advances in analytical technology have been a key factor driving their increased detection. Many technologies were implemented to remove/degrade these contaminants.

The seminar introduces a background of chemicals of emerging concern, and case studies in the drinking water industry to investigate the efficacy of water treatment technologies to improve water quality & resolve new challenges in drinking water quality.

You may be eligible for 1 CPD hour.
